Family Sessions
Family is everything, and your story deserves to be told in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. My family sessions are designed to capture the genuine connections, laughter, and love that make your family unique. Whether it’s a playful session in a wooded field, a cozy gathering at home, or an adventurous outing to a favorite spot, I’ll help create a relaxed atmosphere where your personalities can shine.
These aren’t just pictures—they’re memories you’ll cherish forever. Let’s capture the heart of your family and freeze these moments in time.

Best practices for family photos
And why it’s totally fine if your kids or brother don’t “cooperate” perfectly for this session.
1. What should we wear for our family session?
I recommend coordinating outfits with complementary colors rather than matching exactly. Neutral tones and soft patterns work well, and avoid large logos or busy prints. If you need help, I’m happy to provide guidance or inspiration based on the location and season.
2. Where will the session take place?
I offer a variety of location options, from scenic outdoor fields and wooded trails to indoor settings with natural light. If you have a meaningful spot in mind, we can absolutely incorporate it! Let’s choose a location that feels right for your family.
3. How long does a family session last?
Most family sessions last about 1-2 hours. This allows plenty of time for posed portraits, candid moments, and any location or outfit changes you’d like to include.
4. What if my kids aren’t in the mood for photos?
Don’t worry! I take a relaxed and fun approach to family sessions, with plenty of patience for kids being kids. We’ll keep things light and playful, and I’ll capture authentic moments that reflect your family’s dynamic.
5. How many photos will we receive?
You can expect 30-50 fully edited images from your family session. I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each image is a beautiful representation of your family.
6. Can extended family members join the session?
Absolutely! Whether it’s grandparents, cousins, or the whole family, we can make arrangements for a larger group session. Let me know your vision, and we’ll plan accordingly.
